About Robert Jackson

As the son of Robert Jackson, it is with a heavy heart that I reflect on my father's life, which came to a peaceful close on September 10, 2023. His journey began on Sep 20, 1988, and throughout the years, I witnessed firsthand the incredible man he was. With a countenance marked by the passage of time and eyes that held the weight of history, my father, affectionately known as "Uncle Bob" to many, was a source of profound inspiration. His life was a tapestry woven with threads of resilience, wisdom, and unwavering principles. His presence in our lives was a constant source of guidance, offering a moral compass that shaped my own values. His home, a sanctuary of cherished memories and life lessons, was a testament to the love he had for his family. As I reflect on his legacy, I'm reminded of his passion for knowledge, his skillful piano melodies, and his unwavering commitment to social justice. My father's passing leaves a void that can never truly be filled, but his memory will forever guide me and the generations to come, serving as a reminder of the enduring impact of a life well-lived.
